Obituary for Virginia Lee Gaunce (Hopkins )
Virginia Lee Gaunce, age 84, widow of Nolie Lee Gaunce, died Monday, April 8, 2019 at Dover Manor Nursing Facility in Georgetown. She was born on April 16, 1934 in Bourbon County, the daughter of the late Zeb Hopkins and the late Mary Elizabeth Roberts Whitaker. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Shawn Beaton and nine of her brothers and sisters. She was a retired caregiver and a member of Trinity First Church of God.
Surviving are 4 children, Regina Gale (Greg) Hutchison, John (Deborah) Beaton, Charles Beaton and James Beaton as well as 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Graveside service for Virginia Lee Gaunce will be held on Monday, April 15th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Paris Cemetery Chapel with Rev. William E. Singleton officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Paris Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Bluegrass Hospice Care, 1317 US-62, Cynthiana, KY 41031.
